We have launched our new Seeing is Believing campaign promoting pre-loved furniture and this is ReBuild Bury’s Story;
“How amazing – I was at our stand in the Millgate in Bury the other day and our brilliant staff and volunteers gave out over 700 leaflets about our pre-loved furniture. Some people didn’t know about us so it was great to be able to chat to them about what we do and how they can get hold of real quality furniture at great prices or bits to upcycle for a pound or two. Add to that the fact that we collect and re-use loads of electrical goods and I think we are fairly unique in Bury – don’t think any other charities in the area take electricals, but am happy to be corrected!
And why didn’t we join Facebook sooner – immediate response to the bedroom display we had put on – someone wants to buy the bed! Even Mike, our Ops Manager, thought it was worth lugging the furniture there and back, and loads of people have been to the warehouse today to see what we have on offer. When are you organising the next event Recycle for Greater Manchester????”
